List of validation rules for Le Bon Marché:
- Tax identifier: by law, each supplier must have a tax identifier. For French suppliers it's their VAT (intracommunity VAT number);
- Legal identifier: by law, each supplier must have a legal identifier. For French suppliers it's their SIRET number, for EU suppliers an intracommunity VAT number and for suppliers outside the EU, its a DUNS code;
- Invoice/credit note date: all invoices/credit notes must be dated. The date cannot be more than 10 days before or after the date the invoice is uploaded to the platform;
- Invoice/credit note number: each invoice/credit note must have a number and that number must be unique;
- Invoice due date: the invoice must state the due date and it cannot be later than the date it is uploaded to the platform;
- VAT rate: for EU suppliers the VAT rate must be the current French rate;
- Reason for VAT exemption: this is a free text field which must be completed by French suppliers if they have opted for VAT exemption;
- Order number: if provided by the customer, the order number must be marked on all invoices/credit notes. If the invoice/credit note is for one order only it must appear in the invoice header, if there are several orders, it appears on each invoice/credit note line;
- Cost Center (Code Rayon / Département): is mandatory for all suppliers invoicing the branch La Grande Épicerie de Paris; it is also mandatory for all suppliers invoicing the other two branches (Le Bon Marché and Franck & Fils), if no order number is provided by the customer;
- Discounts, charges: discounts and charges can be provided at header or line level, or both. When provided at header level, they should not be included in the total of line amounts, but provided separately. When provided at line level, they should always be included in the line amount of the line to which they are applied (hence also to the total of line amounts);
- Payment method: if the payment method is IBAN, then the SWIFT / BIC code must also be provided;
- Payment due date: it is mandatory and cannot be later than the date it is uploaded to the platform;
- Penalty for late payment statement: this statement must appear in the Notes field;
- Shared Capital: shared capital is mandatory for French suppliers;
- RCS: RCS is mandatory for French suppliers;
- Legal Status: legal status is mandatory for French suppliers (SA / SAS / SARL etc.);
- Registration address: is mandatory for all French suppliers;
- VAT Type: is mandatory for French suppliers (Débit / Encaissement).
